I swear,
I’ve inherited Little Stevie's mistrust
for the church, government and schools
The more I research
I discover the class system is real
overall we have been played like fools
Answers follow more questions,
all this suffering, violence and death
will never make sense
Healthy dialogue is overtaken by toxic debates
What was once benevolent atmospheres are now
full of rage disrespectful and tense
The last four years I’ve lived in seclusion
while deep in my spirit
I long to fight
I met some good people in low places,
complex issues grab my ankles as I climb
Yes there are rules of law but what about moral obligation?
division grows wider in my home country, county and state
Pay close attention to the enemies of Captain Ibrahaim Traore’
Who would want to stop the programs he’s putting in place?
Deflectors, defenders, protests, riots
Karma has given rabbits guns and ammunition to open fire
Will there ever be peace?
Love is in need
I still have hope but damn, I am tired
