LHF is an ambitious and young publishing company ran by four unpaid editors. Our mission has always been to promote under-published artists, and instill in them a believe that their work deserves to be seen.
But, like so many worth-while goals, there is no money in it. Our laundry list of expenses towers over our profits, and so we are extending an opportunity to support us. Any amount of money you send makes a difference. Even just a couple bucks. Thank you!

Submission Guide and Guidelines

**Most of this is OPTIONAL. We are not strict on formatting**
​
General Guidelines:
-All submissions must be original, unpublished work.
-We accept submissions in the following categories: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, Visual Art (photography, illustrations, comics, etc.).
-Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please inform us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
-We aim to respond to all submissions within one month.
Fiction & Non-Fiction:
-Please keep your submissions under 5000 words.
-Format your document in Times New Roman, 12pt font, double-spaced.
-Include a brief bio (50-100 words) in your submission email or document.
Poetry:
-Submit up to 5 poems in a single document.
-Each poem should start on a new page.
-Include a brief bio (50-100 words) in your submission email or document.
Visual Art:
Submit up to [number—e.g., 5] pieces of artwork.
Images should be in JPEG format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
Please provide a brief description or caption for each piece, along with your bio.
How to Submit:
-Send your submissions to lowhangingfruitsubmission@gmail.com with the subject line: Submission - [Category/Medium] - [Your Name].
-Attach your work as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file for written work; and as JPEG for visual art.
-In the body of your email, include your name, contact information, and a brief bio.
Rights:
By submitting, you agree to grant us first publication rights if your work is selected. After publication, the rights revert back to you.
