frozen in the sun,

growing like a flower deep underground,

yelping like a dog trying to be found.

In woods, meant to be

like a crab at the bottom

of the sea,

or slithering serpent

in the depths of hell.

I’m feeling alright,

In dorm, meant to be

but sink with me

only for a spell.

Consider my discomfort

and treat me well.

Hallow for hallow

we all must bear,

so treat your neighbor nice

treat your neighbor fair.
